Grew up on Frazetta's art. I have 3 volumes of his art books. I watched a DVD about him that I got out of the library called "Frank Frazetta: Painting with Fire." It's very interesting. If you're a fan, you should check it out. If you're not a fan, don't bother. He comes off quite arrogant at times.

Have you heard of this? Artists create cards that are 2.5 X 3.5 and trade them with one another. You cannot charge for them...you have to trade. That's pretty cool!

Requiem

Found out about this comic the other day called "Requiem." It's about vampires. I really like the artwork that I've seen. (There's a story printed in this months Heavy Metal magazine) I'm going to see if I can track down some more of this stuff.

Ryan Bubnis Show

They're having a showing of Ryan Bubnis' art at the Blue Bottle Gallery here in Seattle. It's a cool little space. I've actually sent some of my art in for consideration. Anywho...hope I can swing by sometime this month for some Bubnis!
